27 hospitals are free of COVID-19 patients in Abu Dhabi

In Abu Dhabi, the Department of Health announced that 27 hospitals in the emirate (governmental, field, and private) are free of COVID-19 patients.

This came as a result of the health sector strategy, the activation of the national survey program and various proactive checks, in addition to public awareness, the commitment of community members to health guidelines, the optimal application of preventive measures, and safe spacing in public places and workplaces.

The department has dedicated two hospitals to deal with cases of “COVID-19”, namely: Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Hospital, and Al Ain Hospital.

The cure rate of the emerging coronavirus, out of the total registered infections in the country, was 81.5%, while the number of proactive “corona” checks reached nearly four million.

Hospitals free of COVID-19 patients in Abu Dhabi, after recovering and leaving the injured, included seven hospitals in Al Dhafra Region: (Madinat Zayed Hospital, Delma, Al Marfa, Ghayathi, Al Sila, Liwa, in addition to Al Ruwais Hospital), and four hospitals belonging to the “V” BS “Healthcare”: (Barjeel, Mediour, Life Care and LLH) and four hospitals affiliated with the NMC Healthcare Group: (NMC Royal Hospital, NMC Royal for Women, NMC Specialty, and Barin International).

The list included four hospitals affiliated with the Mediclinic Group in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, and three hospitals within the Mubadala Healthcare Network: (Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Health Point, and Imperial College London), Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, Tawam Hospital in Al Ain, and the field hospital at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, and Ain Al-Khaleej Hospital, in addition to Universal Hospital Abu Dhabi.

How could Abu Dhabi be free of COVID-19 patients?

Doctors at the isolated hospitals, which are declared empty, said that the analysis of the injury and recovery index during the past two months showed a significant decrease in the rate of injuries in the country, by a large percentage, compared to an increase in the recovery rate.

They added that most of the newly recorded injuries are classified as simple, do not require a medical bed, and are isolated and monitored at home.

The department praised the distinguished efforts provided by the medical cadres in hospitals and health facilities in the emirate and called on community members to continue taking the necessary precautions, such as wearing masks, washing hands, and maintaining social distance.

82% recovery from Corona from total injuries in the Emirates

After the Ministry of Health and Community Protection announced that 679 new cases of people infected with the newly created Coronavirus had recovered, they recovered 82% to 82% of all infections. Symptoms of the disease, after receiving the necessary health care since she was hospitalized, bringing the total number of cures to 44,648.

In line with the ministry’s plan to expand and increase the scope of examinations in the country, with the aim of early detection, and inventory of cases infected with the new Coronavirus (COVID-19) and those who have been in contact with them and isolate them, the ministry announced that it has conducted more than 58 thousand new exams, for different groups in society, using the best and latest technologies Medical Examination.

The intensification of the investigation and examination procedures and the expansion of examinations at the state level helped in the detection of 403 new cases of the new Coronavirus, of different nationalities, all of which are stable cases, subject to the necessary health care, for a total of 54,453 cases registered. The Ministry also announced the death of a person with the repercussions of the infection with the new Coronavirus, so that the number of deaths in the state reached 331 cases, and she expressed her regret, sincere condolences and sympathy to those of the deceased, and her wishes for a speedy recovery for all those infected.
