“Zayed Village” Project Overview:
Dar Al Ber, a charitable organization, has implemented a comprehensive humanitarian project called “Zayed Village.”
The village serves as a model community, covering a total area of 35,000 square meters.
While the total cost of the project reached 4.3 million dirhams.
“Zayed Village” project is an inspiring initiative, as it supports a number of families in Niger with homes and services.
Ensuring the best standards so they enjoy a high quality life.
Beneficiaries:
- Fifty impoverished families benefit from this vital humanitarian project.
- The village provides essential services through a school and a medical clinic.
- It represents one of the sustainable development projects undertaken by Dar Al Ber in 2024.
Infrastructure and Facilities:
The village comprises 50 houses, each measuring 69 square meters.
Each house consists of two bedrooms and a living room.
Other facilities include a fully equipped school with six modern classrooms.
In addition to a medical clinic (150 square meters), and a mosque (150 square meters) with other amenities.
As well as ten commercial shops (dakakin) that serve as a charitable endowment to support the village’s infrastructure.
Sustainability Measures:
- The project includes two solar-powered artesian wells.
- Water supply infrastructure ensures access to clean water for drinking and household use.
- A 500-square-meter natural turf sports field has been created.
- Sustainable construction materials, such as cement bricks and zinc roofing, were used.
Impact of Zayed Village
Dr. Mohammed Suhail Al Muhairi, CEO of Dar Al Ber, emphasized the long-term positive impact on impoverished communities.
As such holistic and integrated humanitarian projects improve human capabilities and enhance quality of life.
