The longest space mission in Arab history accomplished by the Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi.
Now he is ready to return to Earth in a few days.
Successful Return of Emirati Astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi
The UAE Space Agency announced that the successful return of Sultan Al Neyadi from the International Space Station is on September 3, 2023.
After he completes the longest space mission in Arab history.
Mentioning that the return journey from space will take about 16 hours.
Al Neyadi had travelled to the International Space Station on March 3, 2023.
Alongside NASA astronauts Stephen Bowen and Warren Hoburg, and Russian cosmonaut Andrei Vidyaev.
During this mission, Al Neyadi participated in more than 200 scientific experiments in collaboration with international space agencies and UAE universities.
These experiments ranged from different fields, such as:
Plant cultivation, human sciences, space exploration technologies, fluid behaviors, materials science.
In addition to crystal production, among other unique scientific experiments.
Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi will participate in the Cardiobreath experiment.
The experiment will analyze the impact of microgravity on cardiovascular and respiratory function.
