Since it is an opportunity to unite and align agendas.
And also advocating to reshape education landscape as the solution at the heart of addressing climate change and other global crises.
Special high-level session to articulate the COP28 Presidency and ReWired Summit vision for education at UNGA.
On the sidelines of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, COP28 Presidency and Dubai Cares hosted a special high-level session to entrench education as central to the transformation for humanity and the planet as an enduring legacy.
During the session, the COP28 Presidency and Dubai Cares emphasized the UAE’s commitment to entrenching education at the heart of the climate agenda.
By dedicating a full day on “Youth, Children, Education, and Skills” on 8 December 2023 within the conference agenda.
Where Dubai Cares will host the second edition of the Rewired Summit.
Moreover, the Rewired Summit aims to link the shared goals of the climate and education agendas.
As a unified blueprint to entrench global education transformation at the forefront of the climate agenda.
In fact, the Rewired Global Education Summit will bring together diverse voices and sectors.
Including heads of state and government, the education and climate sectors and civil society.
In addition to UN organizations and multilateral agencies, the private sector, indigenous peoples’ communities, and youth.
In order to reshape, rethink, and reimagine the current education landscape for the future of humanity and the planet.
The importance of Dubai Cares’ UNGA engagements in entrenching education transformation at the heart of climate action.
His Excellency Dr. Tariq Al Gurg, Chief Executive Officer and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dubai Cares, said:

The Rewired Summit 2023 will be held at COP28 on 8 December 2023 at Expo City Dubai.
