The increase in the number of learners from the UAE is attributed to many factors.

-The UAE’s focus on education and innovation.
As well as the availability of financial aid for online learning.

The UAE government has always been a strong supporter of online learning.

Coursera offers a wide range of courses from leading universities and organizations around the world.
Moreover, learners can choose from courses in a variety of subjects, including business, technology, science, and humanities.

In 2022, the UAE government launched a program to provide financial aid to UAE citizens who want to take online courses.

While the increase in the number of learners from the UAE is a positive sign for the country’s education and innovation ecosystem.
It also suggests that UAE citizens are eager to learn new skills and advance their careers.

Coursera has had a significant impact on the UAE’s education landscape.

Coursera platform has helped to make high-quality education more accessible to UAE citizens.

Jeff Maggioncalda, CEO of Coursera, said that the company is working with 60 government and private entities in the UAE.
Including federal entities such as the Ministry of Education.

Moreover, the company is working with them to activate locally accredited learning units.
And also to provide opportunities for higher education institutions in the country.
In order to develop short-term learning unit content, and improve the educational system.

Maggioncalda added that 97% of students in the country prefer professional training courses.

Also it is one of the main pillars that the state relies on to achieve its goals and aspirations to play a leading role regionally and globally.”

Coursera Breaks the language barrier using artificial intelligence by more than 4,000 courses translated into Arabic.

And also facilitate access for millions of learners across the country to more than 4,000 courses translated into Arabic using artificial intelligence.

He noted that the content translation initiative is only available to universities and government entities.
