Apple has unveiled the new MacBook Pro featuring the M3 family of chips.
The new chips are the first to be built on TSMC’s 3-nanometer process.
And also they offer significant performance and efficiency gains over the previous generation.

The M3 chip is the entry-level chip in the family, and it features 8 CPU cores and 10 GPU cores.
It is up to 35% faster than the M1 chip in terms of CPU performance.
And up to 65% faster in terms of GPU performance.
Moreover, the M3 Pro chip features 12 CPU cores and 18 GPU cores.
And it is up to 40% faster than the M1 Pro chip in terms of CPU performance, and up to 50% faster in terms of GPU performance.
The M3 Max chip is the most powerful chip in the family.
Also it features 16 CPU cores and 32 GPU cores.
It is up to 80% faster than the M1 Max chip in terms of CPU performance, and up to 90% faster in terms of GPU performance.
All of the M3 chips also feature a new Neural Engine that is up to 60% faster than the Neural Engine in the M1 chips.
This makes them ideal for machine learning tasks such as image recognition, natural language processing, and speech recognition.
In addition to the new chips, the new MacBook Pro also features a number of other improvements.
Including a new display with a higher refresh rate, a new webcam with better resolution and low-light performance, and a new keyboard with longer key travel.
