“Abu Dhabi Health” national program seeks to improve healthcare in Abu Dhabi by providing job opportunities in the healthcare sector for both citizens and residents.
Abu Dhabi Health Department, has set localization targets for healthcare facilities in Abu Dhabi to provide 5000 new job opportunities for national cadres by the end of 2025.
Since the department is asking all healthcare facilities in the emirate to work towards achieving these targets by retaining and increasing the localization rates within their healthcare and administrative staff.
Also, the department advised that it is working closely with healthcare providers in the emirate to increase localization rates in medical professions.
Including doctors, nursing staff, and other supporting healthcare professions.
As well as administrative roles such as information technology, human resources, accounting and finance, legal affairs, and others.
This is in line with the department’s efforts to provide the healthcare sector with national talents to achieve the workforce localization agenda and ensure its sustainability.
In this context, Dr. Noura Khamis Al Ghaithi, Deputy Director of Abu Dhabi Health Department, said:
“In line with the directives of our wise leadership, the localization target has been implemented in Abu Dhabi healthcare facilities.
Since we seek to empower national competencies to contribute to the healthcare system, enhance its outcomes.
As well as establishing a knowledge-based economy in the emirate.
Besides the department’s efforts to support localization initiatives in the healthcare sector and retain competent and flexible medical citizen staff.
Thus strengthen Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading global healthcare destination.”
Abu Dhabi Health Department will provide support to all facilities to achieve the target of “Nafis” initiative.
In addition to the benefit of job seekers identifying provided by “Nafis” platform.
Also, Ghanem Al Mazrouei, Secretary-General of the UAE National Competitiveness Council, praised the department’s efforts to increase localization rates in the emirate.
In addition to the department’s efforts in facilitating monitoring to achieve localization targets, and the decisions issued in this regard.
Also, this will enhance the supportive work environment for UAE citizens.
Especially those working in the healthcare sector, enabling them to fill jobs in this vital and important sector.
We should mention that the “Nafis” program is the federal government program to raise the competitive efficiency of national cadres.
Due to the fact that Nafis program enables national cadres to work in the UAE private sector institutions within five years.
The program includes several initiatives.
Including the “Medical and Health Sector Cadres Development” program.
Additionally, the program provides educational grants to citizens so they can obtain needed qualifications to work in the healthcare sector.
Also, “Nafis platform” enables facilities to post job and training opportunities.
