Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Receives Astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi and the Team of Zayed’s Ambition Mission-2
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today received His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of Youth, Astronaut Hazza Al Mansouri, and Zayed’s Ambition Mission-2 team, headed by His Excellency Salem Humaid Al Marri, Director General of the Center.
His Highness praised the pioneering achievements of the astronauts and the team of Zayed’s Ambition Mission-2.
Noting that their efforts have greatly contributed to promoting the scientific innovation and technological progress in the country.
Appreciation for the Strategic Leadership:
His Highness also praised the strategic leadership of the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center.
In addition to the valuable experiences gained from the astronauts’ missions to the International Space Station.
Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed highlighted the role of space exploration as it is inspiring the next generation of scientists and researchers in the country.
The team presented Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs logo.
Which is a gesture symbolizing the success of Zayed’s Ambition Mission-2 and the UAE’s commitment to exploring new horizons.
Mentioning that H.E Dr. Sultan Al Neyadi was carrying the logo during the longest Arab space mission in history.
For his part, His Excellency Salem Humaid Al Marri, Director General of the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center, said:

And also for his continuous support for our endeavors in the field of space exploration.

- Dr. Sultan Al Neyadi became the first Arab astronaut to spend six months on the International Space Station.
