The 27th Zayed Sports Tournament Opens in Abu Dhabi
The 27th edition of Zayed Sports Tournament kicked off today at Erth Abu Dhabi Hotel.

The tournament, organized by Ettizan Fitness at Erth Abu Dhabi, runs from March 11 to 24.
And it has a total prize pool of AED 350,000.
Mentioning that it will feature competitions in men’s and women’s football, paddle, boxing, chess, gymnastics, and iron ball.
Inception in 1997
The championship was launched three decades ago in honor of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, to commemorate his love for sports.
It also embodies the spiritual values of the holy month of Ramadan and promotes unity among community members.
Over the past quarter century, the distinguished championship has evolved into an exceptional platform for the thriving sports community in the UAE.
Since its inception in 1997, it has inspired more than 40,753 athletes and 670 teams.
It also welcomed over 69,000 fans, and offered prizes totaling AED 28.6 million.

- Women’s Football: March 11-15
- Padel: March 11-16
- Boxing: March 14-16
- Swimming: March 23
- Youth Football: March 16-17
- Iron Ball: March 16-17
- Chess: March 21-23
- Gymnastics: March 17
- Men’s Football: March 17-24
