UAE to Host World Local Production Forum 2025
His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Health Services Establishment, witnessed the signing of an agreement to host the third edition of the World Local Production Forum from April 7-9, 2025, at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Fatima Al Kaabi, Director-General of the Emirates Health Services Establishment, and Dr. Yukiko Nakata, Assistant Director-General for Medicines and Health Products at the World Health Organization.
The announcement was made during a press conference in Abu Dhabi.
World Local Production Forum 2025 theme is “Advancing Local Production for Health Equity, Global Health Security and Sustainable Development”.
It aims to establish the UAE as a global platform for exploring sustainable local production solutions to strengthen healthcare systems.
The agreement aims to solidify the UAE’s partnership with the WHO in supporting global health goals.
It underscores the country’s commitment to adopting innovative health policies and contributing to a sustainable health environment.

The forum will address regulatory policies, markets and human capital.
