“World in Your Language” Initiative to Break Down Cultural Barriers by Mohammed bin Rashid Library.
Mohammed bin Rashid Library has launched a new human knowledge project under the slogan “World in Your Language”.
In order to break down cultural barriers and make its collections accessible to visitors and members of all nationalities and languages.
“World in Your Language” Initiative relies on the latest technologies to break the language barrier.
Dr. Mohammed Salem Al Mazrouei, a member of the board of directors of Mohammed bin Rashid Library Foundation, said:
“There is a lot of knowledge and resources around the world but not everyone can reach them because of the language barrier.
In fact, our initiative “World in Your Language” came from this idea.
Moreover, our initiative relies on artificial intelligence and the latest technologies.
In order to make it possible to read and listen to books in our library in many languages.”
He added:
“When we talk about knowledge, we talk about a bridge that connects cultures and generations.
This initiative represents a vision for the future of culture.
As well as the knowledge in the region and the Arab world, where there are no limits to knowledge.”

Dr. Mohammed Salem Al Mazrouei continued:
“The initiative comes from our full belief that every individual in society deserves access to knowledge regardless of their language.
And also in line with our strategy and vision to raise the scientific and cultural level of individuals.

Our services make individuals more effective in their communities.
Especially in the context of a harmonious environment in the UAE.
Which includes more than 200 nationalities from around the world living in a unique harmony and coexistence.”
Currently, the initiative will allow visitors and members of the library to read books and listen to them from its knowledge treasures in several world languages.
Spreading Arabic Culture Globally.
The initiative will contribute to promoting the globality of Arabic literature, culture, heritage, and language.
As well as raising awareness of Emirati history and literature.
Moreover, it will support promising writers, researchers and creators in the UAE.
Through high-precision instant translation of their intellectual production in all fields.
Surely this will open the door for promising writers, researchers and creators to reach the world.
