On the occasion of World Health Day, which comes in the 07th of April every year, HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, reaffirmed the country’s ongoing commitment to promoting health both locally and globally.
The country’s health initiatives reflect the broader goals of the UAE for the year 2025, which has been officially declared the “Year of Community.”
On January 27, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan called on “everyone who considers the UAE their home” to contribute to the betterment of society.
In a social media post, he wrote:
“A year in which we work hand in hand to strengthen the bonds within our communities and families.
And also to reinforce our shared responsibility in building our nation and unleashing potential and talents.”

What Makes the UAE Health Sector Advanced ?
The health sector in the UAE is one of the most advanced and rapidly growing sectors in the region.
UAE government has heavily invested in healthcare infrastructure, digital health, medical tourism, and preventive care.
Here are the key aspects of the UAE health sector:
1. Strong Government Commitment
The UAE views healthcare as a top national priority.
It is also a part from its strategic plans including “the UAE Vision 2021” and “Vision 2031.”

In a post on social media today, Monday, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed stated:

He added:
“On World Health Day, we reaffirm the UAE’s continued approach of placing health at the forefront of its development priorities.
While promoting a culture of healthy living and raising awareness about the dangers and negative consequences of diseases on individuals, society, and the nation.”
His Highness also said:
