The 38th World Congress of Sports Medicine, concluded yesterday (Sunday) at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
This congress issued 13 recommendations following four days of discussions and sessions.
Moreover, the event saw the participation of around 1,000 attendees.
It included 13 sessions, 130 speakers, and the presentation of 304 research papers.
World Congress of Sports Medicine Emphasizes AI Role
Key recommendations included emphasizing the role of artificial intelligence (AI).
As well as technological innovations in enhancing athletes’ well-being.
The congress explored the latest developments in AI and technology.
With high focus on their role in monitoring athletes’ health and performance, and examining innovations.
Such as machine learning algorithms to predict and manage injuries.
The recommendations also touched on developments in football and sports science.
Experts exchanged insights on how new research is shaping the way athletes train and recover.
They also highlighted successful applications across various sports.
The importance of sports medicine in society was also underscored.
With recommendations for collaborative awareness initiatives with local athletes and sports organizations.
Awards Winners
Following the World Congress of Sports Medicine conclusion, the winners were honored with three different awards:
- Aspetar
- International Federation of Sports Medicine
- “Young Researcher” award
