Trump Scheduled Meetings and Talks To Include Ukraine and Russia
On Sunday, Trump said his administration had “meetings and talks scheduled with various parties, including Ukraine and Russia.”
When Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov was asked about these remarks..
He responded: “There appear to be plans for discussions.”
Fyodor Lukyanov, the scientific director of the Russian Valdai Discussion Club, noted:
“Trump and Putin do not have many location options for such a summit.”
The West is largely aligned with Ukraine, making traditional venues like Helsinki, Geneva, and Vienna unsuitable.
He suggested that the UAE and Saudi Arabia could be viable locations for negotiations.
