Year of Sustainability Extended to 2024
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, has announced the extension of the “Year of Sustainability” initiative to encompass 2024.
This announcement coincides with National Environment Day in the UAE.
Moreover, it is reaffirming the nation’s unwavering commitment to environmental protection.
In addition to the preservation of natural resources for future generations.
Launched in 2023, the “Year of Sustainability” initiative achieved significant success in raising awareness about sustainable values.
It was also encouraging positive behavioral changes, and inspiring collective action towards a more sustainable future.
Throughout 2024, the initiative will continue to call upon all members of society to participate in enriching collective efforts towards the implementation of sustainable practices through a diverse range of community-driven programs and activities.
