His Excellency Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan is the Chairman of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. He also is a member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. He is the grandson of Sheikh Hamid bin Zayed bin Sultan bin Khalifa bin Shakhboot bin Dhiab bin Isa bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, the fourteenth child of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

His Highness Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan holds a BA in Economics from the UAE University. He also holds a Masters’ degree in Petroleum Political Economy from the University of Wales, UK.
On December 17, 2006, His Highness Sheikh Hamed assumed the position of Chief of the Crown Prince’s Court of Abu Dhabi. In accordance with the Emiri Decree issued by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, may God preserve him as the ruler of Abu Dhabi.
