Dr. Anwar Gargash Mourns Ajman Ruler’s Advisor
Today, Abdullah Amin Al-Shorafa, Ajman Ruler’s Advisor, passed away after a life filled with giving.
The funeral prayer for the deceased will be held today, Tuesday.
After Al-Asr prayer at Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Mosque (the late Abdullah Amin Al-Shorafa Mosque) in Mushairif, Ajman.
His Excellency Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, the diplomatic advisor to His Highness the President of the State, mourned Abdullah Al-Sharafae on his official X account, saying:
“The UAE lost today the late Abdullah Amin Al-Shorafa.
A great philanthropist and one of the first-generation men who left a mark on the nation’s journey.
We will miss the bright and beautiful presence of Abu Salah.”
He concluded: “May Allah have mercy on the deceased and grant him paradise.
My sincere condolences to his honorable family and all his friends and loved ones.
Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.”

Who is Abdullah Amin Abdul Rahman Al-Shorafa ?
- He was born in Ajman on 1936.
- He received his early education from the mosque, where study circles were held, and from “kuttabs” (traditional Quranic schools).
- He continued his education under a group of religious scholars and teachers of language and mathematics.
- He had extensive knowledge of the genealogies of the people of Ajman.
- He worked in the Ruler’s Court of Ajman from 1963 until his death.
- He served as the representative of the Emirate of Ajman in the Development Office before the union.
- He accompanied His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi in the consultative meetings that preceded the union.
- He served as a representative of the Emirate of Ajman in the Federal National Council for 12 years.
- He worked as the head of the Ruler’s Court of Ajman and as an advisor in the Ruler’s Court of Ajman.
