The UAE’s Ongoing Efforts to Support the Palestinian People
Within the framework of “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3”, the UAE’s humanitarian institutions continue their tireless efforts in providing aid to the people in Gaza Strip.
This humanitarian initiative was launched upon the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
Achievements of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3:
- Delivery of over 124,000 packages which include food items, medical supplies, hygiene products for children, flashlights, and blankets.
- Distribution of 183 food packages, 23 medical packages and food baskets for children.
In addition to 1,040 pieces of heavy winter clothing, 3,402 packages of underwear, and 38 winter blankets. - Operation of 28 kitchens: Producing 13,280 meals for 53,120 beneficiaries.
- One bakery under the subsidized bread project: Produced 250 loaves of bread for 2,500 beneficiaries.
- Deployment of 5 automatic bakeries to the Egyptian city of El-Arish: In preparation for their transfer to Gaza Strip.
Total UAE Aid:
Since the beginning of the recent Palestinian Crisis, the total UAE aid provided to Gaza people under “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3” exceeded 15,700 tons.
Mentioning that over 160 cargo planes were sent.
The UAE also established 6 desalination plants with a production capacity of 1.2 million gallons per day, directly benefiting Gazan residents.
Impact of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3:
- Alleviating the humanitarian suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip.
- Providing them with essential needs such as food and medical supplies.
- Improving their living conditions.
