Global Media Congress: New Standards.. New Future Media Vision.
The 3rd Global Media Congress 2024 included over 121 sessions and workshops.
The congress participants recommended the establishment of new standards and a new future media vision.
In order to address the challenges faced by the media sector in light of rapid technological advancements.
This establishment should be based on creativity, innovation, responsibility.
As well as the ethical values of societies and peoples worldwide.
Participants emphasized the need to empower the young generation of media professionals.
This is by equipping them with knowledge, skills, and the necessary resources.
So they can strengthen their cognitive awareness and continue in the development of their media capabilities and performance.
A Global Gathering of Minds
More than 92 specialists from media industry, representing over 20 nationalities, shared their ideas and experiences.
Underscoring the importance of Global Media Congress as a global gathering of minds, thought leaders, innovators, and decision-makers.
In order to address challenges and leverage opportunities in the media industry.
The participants described the event’s agenda as “dynamic”.
As it is strongly focusing on innovation, skills development, artificial intelligence, creative methods and interactive storytelling.
And also on the ethics of responsible media work, among other interactive and innovative topics.
The third Global Media Congress also saw the participation of media students from five universities across the country.
Giving them the opportunity to engage in discussions and dialogues with a selection of media leaders and experts.
Thereby enhancing their knowledge and exchanging experiences with media professionals from around the world.
Studying artificial intelligence Impact on Media Industry
Participants in the discussion sessions highlighted the importance of establishing clear practical steps to develop media work.
As well as a future roadmap to improve media practices at all levels.
Besides strengthening strategic partnerships between international media institutions to enhance the role of Arab media on the global stage.
They recommended studying the impact of artificial intelligence and digital transformation technologies on the media industry.
In addition to finding solutions that improve the use of advanced technologies.
Such as machine learning and big data, to support media production and content development.
Participants emphasized the significant role of youth in shaping the future of media.
They recommended the review of best practices to empower youth and equip them with modern media skills.
As well as supporting creativity and entrepreneurship in the media field.

A Culture of Responsibility in Media Content
They also called for the establishment of new integrity and transparency standards.
Besides combating media misinformation, and fostering a culture of responsibility in media content, with a focus on respecting cultural and social values.
Participants also highlighted the role of media in addressing global challenges.
Urging discussions on its role in supporting sustainable development and addressing global crises.
As well as studying the role of media in promoting dialogue between cultures and peoples.
Global Media Congress 2024 will issue white papers summarizing the discussions and workshops based on the latest studies and research.
The white papers are expected to be completed soon and will be presented at a special event.
Where the final recommendations and outcomes will be announced, including clear mechanisms for the implementation of recommendations.
In collaboration with government and private entities to ensure regular follow-up on implementation.
