USA signing 1st memorandum of understanding in strategic dialogue with UAE
The American mission confirmed that the first memorandum of understanding was signed in the Emirati-American strategic dialogue.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, the Emirati Minister of Foreign Affairs, said that the UAE provides job opportunities in the American market, and the Emirati Foreign Minister added: “We are working with the United States of America to strengthen the strategic relationship, continuing: We seek to achieve peace and prosperity in the region.”
“We condemn acts of extremism and we must redouble efforts together to combat it,” Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed said during a joint press conference with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, pointing out that Iran threatens the region and that the criteria for combating extremism must include it.
USA: We cannot fight terrorism without the UAE
The US State Department spokeswoman, Morgan Ortagus, confirmed that the strategic dialogue between the UAE and the United States will increase cooperation between the two countries.
Ortagus added that the UAE is a pioneer in peacemaking and diplomatic activity, explaining that the United States cannot fight terrorism without the participation of Abu Dhabi.
Morgan Ortagus noted that the UAE is a very important ally in the Middle East, and the United States is proud of this partnership.
USA & UAE virtual strategic dialogue
The strategic dialogue between the United States and the UAE “virtually” headed by the UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his American counterpart, Mike Pompeo, where a memorandum of understanding was signed for this dialogue.
For his part, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed said in his speech that the UAE is determined to strengthen and develop relations with the United States, pointing out that Abu Dhabi provides job opportunities in the American market.
Washington and UAE achieve peace in the Middle East
Bin Zayed clarified that extremism and terrorism are still a threat facing the world, calling for redoubling efforts to confront them.
He indicated that Iran threatens the region and that the criteria for combating extremism should include it.
While US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo affirmed that the relations between the United States and the UAE are strategic and deep, explaining that this partnership also appears at the World Expo 2020.
Pompeo explained that Washington has worked side by side with the UAE to achieve peace in the Middle East.
He added that the partnership with the UAE includes politics, the fight against terrorism and the economy, noting that he will discuss developments in Libya and Yemen during the strategic dialogue with Abu Dhabi.
The US Secretary of State indicated that Washington will continue to confront Iran, which is the greatest threat to the region, and prevent it from acquiring weapons.
