Several experts have emphasized that UAE’s charitable initiatives in preventing heat exhaustion play a crucial role in enhancing the UAE’s journey of generosity.
These humanitarian and volunteer initiatives include distributing hats, cold water, and meals to thousands of workers.
Relevant authorities also monitor compliance with specified working hours during the noon period in summer to ensure the safety of all workers on these sites.
They made efforts to provide air conditioners, refrigerators, and fans.
Additionally, they launched campaigns to raise awareness about heat exhaustion and diseases.
Emirates Red Crescent is supporting workers by logistical equipment
Hilal Al Kaabi, a member of the Federal National Council, highlighted that leading UAE’s charitable initiatives, by the ERC, are targeting labor segments and those engaged in strenuous work during the high temperatures.
These initiatives provide logistical equipment to protect workers from scorching sun rays.
They also prevent any health repercussions due to extreme heat.
Other initiatives include providing shade for workers, cool water containers, and bags to maintain food temperature.
The relevant authorities aim to launch diverse campaigns to enhance health awareness and provide preventive measures to avoid heat exhaustion.
UAE’s Charitable Initiatives with Humanitarian Value
Dr. Ahmed Obaid Al Zaheri, Director of the ERC Center in Al Ain, commented:
“These initiatives stand out due to their humanitarian value.
They stem from a sense of social responsibility and reflect the UAE’s appreciation for the hardworking support services and labor force.
Recognizing their efforts and contributions has become a societal duty in the UAE.”
Mohammed Bin Dlawan Al Kutbi, Founder and President of Ajman Volunteering Team, stated the below:

This step aligns with the team’s qualitative initiatives in Ajman.”
Social Responsibility
Kawthar Al Rahali, Founder and President of Abqara Volunteering Team, explained:
“Many volunteer teams coordinate with relevant authorities in the UAE to distribute food, water, and gifts to workers of various nationalities.”
