The UAE has sent a Medical aid plane containing about 9 tons of medical supplies to Chile to support it in limiting the spread of the new Coronavirus, and more than 9,000 health care workers will benefit from it to enhance their efforts to combat the epidemic.

Teodoro Ribera, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Chile, had received the Medical aid plane that the Emirates provided today to his country as part of the efforts made by the country to help various countries of the world to contain the spread of the “COVID-19” virus.
He expressed thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates for the assistance that will have a good impact in combating the epidemic.

Abdul Razzaq Hadi Al-Awadi, UAE ambassador to Chile, said: “The relations between the UAE and Chile are witnessing continuous development, and there is an eagerness to develop aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries.”
He added that this Medical aid assistance to Chile today comes within the framework of strengthening bilateral relations and contributing to the efforts of the relevant authorities in the country to combat COVID-19, by providing protection for front-line workers in the health care field.

Costa Rica receives Medical aid from the Emirates to combat Corona
Carlos Alvarado Quesada, President of the Republic of Costa Rica, received the Medical aid plane that the UAE sent today to his country, as part of the efforts made by the country to help various countries of the world to contain the spread of the new Coronavirus.
The President of Costa Rica expressed his deep thanks to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces; To support his country with Medical aid to tackle the virus, he also expressed his appreciation to the government and people of the UAE for returning Costa Rican citizens to their country.
