It’s impressive to see the UAE actively participating in the “High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development 2024” in New York.
During this forum, a groundbreaking session highlighted the importance of global partnerships with governments and international organizations to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by 2045.

The session title is: “Government Knowledge Exchange Program: Ministerial Dialogue on Sustainable Development Goals 2045”.
And it featured prominent UAE representatives, including:
- Abdullah Nasser Lootah (Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Knowledge Exchange and Competitiveness)
- Mohamed Abu Shahab (UAE Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations)
- Rashid Mubarak Al Mansoori (Secretary-General of the UAE Red Crescent), and other distinguished participants.
The UAE delegation showcased its successful experience with the Government Knowledge Exchange Program.
The program has established strategic knowledge partnerships and bilateral cooperation.
In addition to fruitful exchanges of successful government practices.

This program draws inspiration from the UAE’s remarkable journey in government excellence.
Also, it has engaged with over 35 countries and governments across five continents, supporting joint international efforts toward sustainable development.
Abdullah Nasser Lootah, who also chairs the National Committee for Sustainable Development Goals, emphasized the following:
“The UAE’s visionary leadership has made government modernization and development a cornerstone of comprehensive and sustainable progress.
By fostering global collaboration and positive partnerships, the UAE is creating new and promising opportunities.
Promoting comprehensive cooperation across various government sectors through the global platform of government knowledge exchange.
This initiative aligns with Goal 17 of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and aims to turn these goals into tangible realities by 2030.”
