A UAE Red Crescent Authority humanitarian aid ship arrived at the port of Mukalla carrying tons of food, bags and school tools, provided by the United Arab Emirates to the people of Hadramout.

The arrival of the UAE Red Crescent Authority humanitarian aid ship comes as an extension of the relief sea bridge run by the United Arab Emirates through its humanitarian arm, the Red Crescent Authority, which has monitored, within its agenda, the implementation of a package of relief, development and health projects in support of Yemen and its people.
Officials in the Mukalla District expressed their thanks to the UAE leadership and people for the efforts made at all levels in general and at the relief level in particular, which alleviated the suffering of the affected families in the governorate. Convoys carrying thousands of tons of food and relief supplies and the establishment of development projects that had a great impact on alleviating the suffering of the people.

The United Arab Emirates, through its humanitarian arm, the Red Crescent Authority, continues to provide its humanitarian and relief assistance to the residents of Hadramout Governorate, as part of its efforts to relieve the people of the crisis due to the events the country is going through.
The UAE Red Crescent Authority humanitarian aid distributed 500 food baskets weighing 21 tons and 400 kilograms, targeting 2,500 poor and needy families in the Al-Harshayat area of Al-Mukalla district in the Hadramout governorate.
The people of Al-Harchiat, east of Mukalla, expressed their thanks and appreciation to the leadership and people of the United Arab Emirates for this great help and the humanitarian gesture that will contribute to alleviating the suffering of many families in the midst of these difficult living conditions.
It is noteworthy that the number of food baskets that have been distributed since the beginning of 2020 amounted to 30,410 food baskets weighing 2,419 tons and 128 kilograms, targeting 152,050 individuals from needy and affected families in Hadramout governorate.
