Significant reforms in the Golden Residency program aimed at recruiting and retaining specialists and skilled talents from diverse sectors and research backgrounds have been announced by the UAE Cabinet. Changes will take effect from 1 December 2020 onwards.
In addition to doctors and engineers in the areas of computer engineering, electronics, programming, electrical engineering and biotechnology. As well as graduates from UAE approved institutions with a Grade Point Average (GPA) score of 3.8 and above the UAE Golden Residency. A ten-year residency permit, will be issued to citizens with a PhD degree.
