UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, talks about the UAE Martyrs on the occasion of Martyrs’ Day.
UAE Martyrs Day, also known as Commemoration Day, is a national holiday in the United Arab Emirates.
Which honors the sacrifices of Emirati martyrs who have died while serving their country.
This day comes annually on November 30th, it is a time for reflection, remembrance, and gratitude for the fallen heroes.
On the occasion of Martyrs day, UAE President Praised the martyrs of the UAE due to their heroism and sacrifices.
The martyrs have sacrificed their pure souls to defend the United Arab Emirates and its people, values and sovereignty.
Also they have the right to us to commemorate their names and memories and to fulfill the values and meanings they embody.
By doubling our efforts and working to keep the flag of our country high and waving in the sky, as the martyrs wanted it and their pure blood spilled in defense of it.
The sacrifices that our brave martyrs have made for the sake of the homeland will remain a source of inspiration for generations.
And also a badge of honor on the chest of every Emirati man and woman forever.
On this glorious day of the homeland, we express our sincere feelings of thanks and gratitude to the families of the martyrs and their relatives.
In addition, we appreciate their sacrifices and their love for their homeland.
We affirm that their care will remain a priority for us always.
Because what their sons have given to the homeland has left a debt on our necks that we work to fulfill as long as we live.
Today, as we commemorate the memory of the heroic martyrs.
We affirm that they sacrificed their lives in defense of the right and in support of security, stability and peace.
The United Arab Emirates has been and remains and will remain a beacon of peace and cooperation.
Because it believes that this is the way to achieve the interests of peoples.
In all parts of the world and to respond to their aspirations for development and prosperity.
May God have mercy on the righteous martyrs in the highest heavens.
May He protect the United Arab Emirates and its people.
And bless it and the region and the whole world with peace and stability.
Wahat Al Karama a a remarkable monument that commemorates the UAE’s martyrs.
In fact, the UAE has a long history of honoring its martyrs.
Moreover, Martyrs Day is a way to ensure that their contributions are never forgotten.
The day is marked with a number of events.
Including a national minute of silence, parades, and ceremonies at the Wahat Al Karama (Oasis of Dignity) memorial complex.
Wahat Al Karama is a remarkable monument located in Abu Dhabi that commemorates the UAE’s martyrs.
The complex features a series of white marble towers.
Each representing a different Emirate, and is inscribed with the names of the fallen heroes.
UAE Martyrs Day is an important day for the UAE.
As it allows the country to come together to remember and honor those who have given their lives for the nation.
The day is also a reminder of the UAE’s commitment to peace and security.
