UAE President Performs Eid Al Fitr Prayer at Sheikh Zayed Mosque.
UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has led Eid Al Fitr prayer today at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Abu Dhabi.
He also attended Eid ceremonies along with Emirati Leaders.
On Eid occasion, H.E. Dr. Omar Habtoor Al-Diri, Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Waqf, Director General of the UAE Shari ‘a Advisory Council, highlighted the importance of Eid occasion, he said:
“Eid is an occasion to celebrate the values of communication, dialogue and harmony.
Also to bring pleasure to the parents and the cousins, which was stated by religion.”
He pointed out that the greatest celebration on this occasion is the noble value of knowledge.
That dates us back to the beginning of this religion.
Mentioning that it is the the start of Islam message and the Lord’s Virtue, which God mentioned in more than eighty hundred times in Quran.
This invites man to believe in God creativity and to think about the delight of making it in cosmic verses.

Knowledge Importance
H.E. Dr. Omar Habtoor Al-Diri stressed the importance of knowledge, its tools and its virtue; knowledge had only grown and risen.
He asked God Almighty to maintain security and stability in the UAE.
Also to make it a habitat for knowledge and values with its youth models of knowledge.
Who are armed with advanced knowledge and to make this holiday return with good and blessings on everyone.
Following the Eid prayers, UAE President, H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan exchanged congratulations with the people on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.
After that, His Highness visited the tomb of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and read Sourat Al Fatiha for his soul.
