UAE President Cup for Purebred Arabian Horses, 10th leg of the 30th edition, will be held today at the Ilvesheim turf trac in Baden-Baden, Germany.
Huge support for Arabian horse racing from H.H Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs, has supported and directed the race.
In order to develop Arabian horse racing and support owners and breeders of Arabian horses around the world.
In fact, the race will feature a field of top horses from Germany and Europe.
Moreover, horses aged four years and older will run over 1,600 meters.
The field includes:
- Jableh (Al Mamoun Monlo x Kouthir Bint Nizam), owned by Wadham Racing, trained by Alban de Meulles, and ridden by Sofian Sardi.
- Abino (Mr. Ginoux x Abidor Bint Dorman), owned by Youssef Salim Qasim, trained by Fabian Zavier Weissmeier, and ridden by Esther Ruth Weissmeier.
- Freddy P (TM Fred Texas x Via Highpoint Bint Dahs), owned and trained by Gerard Zoutloft, and ridden by Eduardo Pedrosa.
- Eliko (Nishan x Jiblina Bint Durwish), owned and trained by Marian Falk Weissmeier, and ridden by Thorhammer Hansen.
- Zoe (Assi x Zita A), owned and trained by Alexis Colbondino, and ridden by Mirko Sanna.
In this context, Faisal Al-Rahmani, general supervisor of the President of the UAE Cup for Purebred Arabian Horses series, said:
“We are proud of the event’s ongoing successes on European tracks.
Reaching the 10th German leg is just another proof of the event’s continuity.
Besides important successes and echoes for the cup in European tracks.”
He explained that the German leg is a major stop in the series.
