The UAE continues to strengthen its long-term strategic partnerships with major economies.
This is by positioning itself as a reliable trade and investment partner and a gateway for the flow of goods and services across the world.
The country organized the “UAE-Global B20 Business Forum” alongside G20 Business Summit held in Brazil.
This is to enhance ties and elevate them to new levels.
New Trade and Investment Partnerships
The forum took place during G20 Business Summit (B20), held in São Paulo, Brazil, on October 24 and 25, under the theme “Inclusive Growth for a Sustainable Future.”
UAE-Global B20 Business Forum is organized by the Ministry of Economy in partnership with the UAE Embassy in Brazil and the UAE Consulate in São Paulo.
It saw significant attendance from the representing delegations of the world’s top 20 economies.
Moreover, it featured bilateral meetings between UAE delegation members and their counterparts.
During the meetings, they explored future cooperation prospects to establish new trade and investment partnerships.
The UAE Continues Its Leading For International Efforts
Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi, head of the UAE delegation said:
“The UAE’s participation reinforces the country’s important role in shaping the future of global economy and international trade.
By supporting policies of free, rules-based trade that contribute to enhancing innovation and achieving sustainability.
After the successful 13th WTO Ministerial Conference in Abu Dhabi, the UAE continues in its commitment to lead international efforts.
This is to develop more resilient and efficient global value chains.
And also to strengthen strategic partnerships that contribute to equitable and inclusive economic prosperity for all.”
He added: “The summit is an important opportunity to strengthen long-term partnerships with major global economies.
Besides addressing pressing issues in global trade, such as sustainable development, investment, food security, and reducing non-tariff barriers.

UAE Partnerships with G20 countries elevated in G20 Business Summit (B20)
Through its participation, the UAE enhanced multilateral trade cooperation and elevated its long-term partnerships with G20 countries.
It also supported the efforts to cement UAE position as a global trade hub connecting the world’s continents.
This is by creating promising trade and investment corridors.”
The forum included panel discussions on vital topics, such as:

- Opportunities in the aviation sector and ways to use renewable energy in it
