Moreover, it remains committed to its long-term support for the Sudanese people.
It will continue working with the international community to find a peaceful solution to this catastrophic conflict.
The UAE’s permanent mission to the United Nations Expressed Deep Concern About Sudan’s Conflict
In a statement issued by the UAE’s permanent mission to the United Nations, the UAE expressed deep concern about the devastating impact of the conflict in Sudan.
This includes reports of sexual violence against women and girls, child recruitment, indiscriminate airstrikes, and the heightened risk of famine.
The suffering and displacement of civilians, especially children and women, are ongoing.
The UAE urges the warring parties to protect civilians and civilian infrastructure.
Reminding them of their obligations under international humanitarian law and the commitments made in Jeddah regarding civilian protection.
Facilitating the delivery of urgent humanitarian aid to those in need is crucial.

The only way to prevent further humanitarian crisis is to support peace, stability, and economic development in Sudan under civilian leadership.
Continued violence does not represent any party in the conflict, and there is no military solution.
