As the two countries share a common cultural heritage of arts and literature.
That has shaped a cohesive cultural identity for their peoples and for all the peoples of the Arabian Gulf region.
Sports cooperation is also one of the bright spots in UAE-Oman relations.
Because sports bodies in the two sisterly countries are keen on strengthening joint cooperation between various sports federations in all technical and administrative aspects.
