The UAE U-17 national football team has qualified for the Round of 16 in AFC U-17 Asian Cup.
It secured a spot in the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
This followed a 1-1 draw against Vietnam on Thursday evening.
The Story of UAE National Team Victory:
The match with Vietnam was held at King Fahd Sports City Stadium in Taif.
As part of the third and final round of Group B matches.
The Young Whites booked their ticket to the World Cup after raising their tally to four points.
Having previously defeated Australia 2-0 in the second round.
The top two teams from each of the four groups qualify for the Round of 16.
While the top eight teams from the tournament will earn spots to represent Asia at the 2025 U-17 World Cup in Qatar, where they will join host nation Qatar in a tournament featuring 48 teams.
