AED 50 Billion of Non-oil Trade
“UAE-Kuwait Week” kicked off today in Dubai and will run until February 4.
It aims at strengthen strategic relations and cooperation across various sectors between the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.
Fostering comprehensive development and mutual interests between the two brotherly nations.
H.E Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, stated that non-oil trade between the UAE and Kuwait reached approximately AED 50 billion (USD 13.5 billion) in 2024.
Marking a 9% annual growth compared to 2023.
Meanwhile, mutual investments between the two countries approached AED 20 billion (USD 5 billion) by the end of 2022.
In a statement to WAM on the sidelines of the UAE-Kuwait Week, His Excellency emphasized that this event serves as a key platform to explore business opportunities, boost trade and investment flows, and foster long-term partnerships between the private sector and business communities in both countries.
