The UAE Jiu-Jitsu youth team, sponsored by “Mubadala Investment Company,” concluded its participation in the World Jiu Jitsu Championship held in Zadar, Croatia.
The team achieved a total of 18 colorful medals: 5 gold, 6 silver, and 7 bronze.
This championship, in its second edition, was organized by the International Judo Federation and featured over 350 male and female athletes from 24 countries.
Who are the champions of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu youth team ?
Among the UAE champions were:
Khalafan Al Qubaisi, Saif Hamad Al Ameri, Obaid Saeed Al Kitbi, Ahmed Andi, and Saeed Al Nuaimi, who secured gold medals.
Silver medals went to Ahmed Al Kitbi, Hamdan Al Najjar, Hamdan Al Zaheri, Youssef Al Khouri, Salem Al Hamoud, and Salem Al Qubaisi.
While the bronze medalists included, Saud Al Balushi, Ma’id Ibrahim Al Housani and Mansour Al Kaabi.
As well as Zayed Al Hammad, Haza’a Al Kitbi, Abdullah Andiz, and Abdullah Ahmed Al Darmaki.
Fahad Ali Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, expressed pride in the team’s success.
Emphasizing their outstanding performance that led them to the top of the championship.

Obaid Saeed Al Kitbi, the gold medalist in the under-52 kg category, expressed his pride in this achievement.
He also raised the UAE flag before the world and acknowledged the long hours of training and the immense effort put in by the coaches.
