UAE Jiu-Jitsu National Team Closed Training Camp in Preparation for Asian Championship
The UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation (UAEJJF) has announced a closed training camp for the national team in Al Dhafra, Abu Dhabi.
The camp will be held in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) from April 13th to May 1st, 2024.
Mentioning that it aims to enhance the athletes’ technical and physical skills.
As well as strengthen their mental and psychological preparedness for the upcoming Asian Jiu-Jitsu Championship.
The championship will be hosted by Abu Dhabi at the Mubadala Arena from May 3rd to 8th, 2024.
30 Senior Athletes
A total of 30 senior male and female athletes will participate in the camp.
The training program will include:
- Intensified training sessions to improve the athletes’ technical and tactical skills.
- A platform to study competition strategies and analyze the performance of potential opponents across different weight categories.
- Development of strategies and plans to handle pressure and challenges, preparing the team to compete at the highest level and increase their chances of retaining the championship title.
Officials from the UAEJJF expressed their strong confidence in the national team champions’ ability to deliver an outstanding performance.
In order to secure the victory at the Asian Championship.
They emphasized the importance of the training camp in optimally preparing the athletes for the competition.
The UAEJJF reiterated its commitment to providing all necessary resources to support the team and help them achieve the best results.

Confidence in the Team
Ramon Lemos, the national team coach, stated that the training program will focus on intensive physical and mental conditioning for the athletes.
With an emphasis on identifying and improving weaknesses.
Lemos expressed his confidence in the team’s ability to achieve outstanding results at the Asian Championship.
Emphasizing that they will give their all to win and retain the championship title.
This training camp serves as a crucial preparation phase for the national team’s participation in the Asian Jiu-Jitsu Championship.
The UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation aims to strengthen the team’s chances of winning.
And also to maintain their prestigious position on the continental stage.
