Al Owais and Edelstein discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the medical field as well as the pharmaceutical industries, medical research, and frameworks for joint cooperation in combating the COVID-19 pandemic.
The two sides discussed, the future projects for scientific and medical partnership, especially in the field of experiments related to finding a vaccine or drug for the virus, in addition to exchanging visits between delegations, during the phone call.
Al-Owais said: “In light of the circumstances imposed by the new Coronavirus pandemic on the countries of the world, concerted efforts must be made in the field of medical research that will benefit humanity.”
