The Legacy of Zayed
HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai’s Border and Security Council, emphasized that the launch of “UAE is with You, Lebanon” national relief campaign aligns with the benevolent legacy of Sheikh Zayed.
This initiative, directed by HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, highlights the UAE’s commitment to humanitarian aid.
Aiming to extend a helping hand to both friends and brothers in times of need.
His Highness visited the campaign at Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City, which was set up to collect relief donations for the people of Lebanon.
Twenty-four Emirati charitable and volunteer organizations.
Along with over 4,000 volunteers from diverse nationalities, religions, and age groups, participated in the effort.
The campaign successfully collected 200 tons of food and shelter supplies.
Efforts on the Ground
During his visit to the relief aid collection center, His Highness Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, accompanied by Her Excellency Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, observed the extensive efforts of the volunteers.
The campaign began last Tuesday and runs until Monday, October 21.
It has involved more than 4,000 volunteers who managed to assemble over 10,000 urgent humanitarian relief packages for Lebanon.
These efforts aim to address the critical humanitarian needs and urgent necessities resulting from the current crisis.
Noble Principles
During the visit, His Highness highlighted that “UAE is with You, Lebanon” campaign is part of the UAE’s many charitable initiatives.
They are offered to various nations and communities in need.
These initiatives underscore the UAE’s leadership, government, and people’s dedication to aiding those facing tough challenges.
His Highness added that the campaign reflects the UAE’s humanitarian efforts in supporting the Lebanese people.
It also expresses the deep brotherly relations between the two countries, especially in such extraordinary circumstances.
In addition, it highlights the UAE’s commitment to its humanitarian responsibilities toward brothers, friends, and the international community.
“UAE is with You, Lebanon” Organized by Dubai Cares
The donations for the campaign were managed and organized by Dubai Cares.
Under the supervision of the International Humanitarian Affairs Council, chaired by HH Sheikh Diab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
His Highness directed efforts to work and coordinate with all UAE donor entities, community clubs, and volunteer organizations across the nation.
IN order to encourage all sectors of society to contribute to this national relief campaign in solidarity with the Lebanese people.

Dr. Tariq Mohammed Al Gurg, CEO and Vice Chairman of Dubai Cares, emphasized the dedication of the wise leadership.
Headed by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid.
With the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, to respond swiftly to humanitarian crises affecting those in need and disaster victims around the world.
He also pointed to the collaborative efforts of UAE organizations in humanitarian work to provide medical, food, and shelter relief to countries and communities affected by crises. These efforts aim to ensure early recovery, meet critical needs, and contribute to the stability and happiness of these communities.
