The UAE humanitarian team continues to distribute food baskets to the Sudanese brothers in Amdjarass, Chad.
The UAE humanitarian team provided food baskets which included a variety of food items, such as rice, sugar, oil, flour, beans, meat, eggs, fruits, and vegetables.
The baskets also included personal hygiene items, such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and disinfectants.
In fact, the UAE has provided huge humanitarian assistance to the Sudanese people in Chad.
As part of its keenness to support friendly and brotherly peoples in times of crisis.
The team in Chad consists of members from the following Emirati organizations:
–Emirates Red Crescent.
-Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works.
–Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Work.
-The UAE Humanitarian Assistance Coordination Office in Chad.
Mohamed Salem Al Ameri, member of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works, said in a statement:
“The team has distributed 2,500 food baskets to date, benefiting over 15,000 people.
Including Sudanese refugee siblings and families in the region.
Also, he noted:
“The team, under the guidance of the wise leadership, had intensified its efforts in recent months to alleviate the suffering of Sudanese refugees.
And also to provide the needs of the local community.”
Al Ameri added:
“The UAE, under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, is always at the forefront in providing assistance and relief to brothers and friends around the world, following the approach of its founder, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan“
“Moreover, the UAE humanitarian team confirmed its full readiness to provide the village’s needs for clean drinking water.
As part of its efforts to provide the necessary humanitarian needs for Sudanese refugee brothers who have fled to Chad.
As well as to support the local community.
Especially the most needy categories, such as patients, children, old people, and women.
The mayor of Johni village thanked the UAE for its humanitarian and charitable efforts that extend to all over the world.
Also he praised the efforts of the UAE humanitarian team.
Since they went through the hardship of the road to reach the remote village to offer a helping hand to its needy residents.
