His Excellency Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, inaugurated the fully-equipped “UAE Field Hospital” in Abéché, Chad.
The hospital aims to provide medical treatment and care to Sudanese refugees in Chad.

  • His Majesty Sultan Sharif II, Sultan of Dar Wadai.
  • A number of Chadian officials.
  • Representatives of Emirati institutions overseeing the project’s implementation.
  • The UAE medical team.

UAE Aid to the Republic of Chad:

  • The UAE has provided aid to the friendly Republic of Chad for the past five years, totaling approximately 467 million USD.
  • Of this amount, around 100 million USD is dedicated to supporting the refugees they have received and provided aid to.
