UAE & Egypt discussed fraternal relations and developments in the region
Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Excellency Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, discussed the solid fraternal relations, aspects of cooperation and joint work between UAE & Egypt, and means of developing it in various fields to achieve their mutual interests.

This came during the reception of H. E the Egyptian President at the Federal Palace in Cairo with H. H Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in the presence of National Security Adviser, His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, H, H Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the accompanying delegation.
UAE & Egypt Meeting Discussions
During the meeting, the two sides discussed cooperation between the two countries in energy, as His Excellency the Egyptian President welcomed the UAE’s accession to The EastMed Gas Forum, observing alongside the founding member states, expressing the importance of the added value that the UAE will contribute to the forum’s activities to serve strategic interests And strengthening cooperation and partnership between the forum countries.
His Highness and the Egyptian President reviewed the efforts of the two countries to confront the COVID-19 pandemic and the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination to contain its humanitarian and economic repercussions at the regional and international levels and preparing for the recovery phase, and the regional and international developments of common interest and exchanged views on them.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his happiness to visit Egypt and thanked him for the warm reception he received and the accompanying delegation. His Highness conveyed to H. E Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State.
UAE & Egypt Fraternal Relations
His Highness affirmed that the bilateral relations between the UAE and Egypt are brotherly and strategic and are based on love, understanding, mutual respect and faith in one destiny since the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
H. E the Egyptian President welcomed the visit of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to his second country, showing that the visit of His Highness gives a strong impetus to bilateral fraternal relations for the benefit of their brotherly peoples and in a manner that meets their aspirations to new horizons of cooperation.

At the conclusion of the meeting, The two countries affirmed their common keenness to continue consultations and coordination between the two UAE & Egypt on issues and topics of common interest in a way that strengthens brotherly relations and contributes to laying the foundations for security, stability, peace and development for the region and its peoples.
The two countries also stressed the importance of the historic peace agreements recently witnessed in the region in achieving regional global and regional stability and security and starting from them to new horizons for strategic relations between the countries of the region, development, construction and prosperity.
The Egyptian President also praised the great and qualitative development that the Emirati-Egyptian relations have witnessed in the political, economic, security, and other fields, and the remarkable growth in the rate of trade exchange and the volume of investments, stressing the common keenness to move forward towards further deepening and developing relations.
