Ookla Speedtest index, which measures internet speeds worldwide, has recorded the UAE’s progress in broadband services over the past years.
Leading it to secure top positions and reaching first place in the latest update in August 2024.
As per 2024 E-Government Report, the UAE ranked first in mobile internet speed and topped the UN global indices for digital infrastructure.
Besides that, it took the first position in the number of internet users and mobile broadband subscriptions per 100 people.
As well as the percentage of individuals using the internet compared to the total population, according to the Global Competitiveness Report 2024.
