UAE delegation to Washington dealing with regional issues
The UAE delegation to Washington had put an end to the “reaction” policy, which had been for decades an approach to dealing with regional issues, by concluding a peace treaty with Israel.
Since the announcement of the peace treaty between the UAE and Israel under American auspices on August 13, this country that seeks never to anticipate the future, not wait for it, has drawn the limits of the initiative by asserting that the decision constitutes a sovereign act of a free country in order to block the bidding in the market of traffickers in the Palestinian cause.
This sovereign decision did not neglect the rights of the Palestinian people, by affirming the cessation of an Israeli plan to annex Palestinian lands, but also without claiming or trading in the pain of an Arab people suffering from the siege and the entrenchment of the greedy to gain points on the political gambling table.
