Global Council for Tolerance and Peace appreciates UAE charitable work

Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, affirmed the historical role of the UAE in charitable work, and its permanent contributions to achieving development in the region, prosperity and decent life for all peoples of the world.

The UAE attaches great importance to charitable work as it is a human value based on giving in all its forms until the Emirati goodness has reached all parts of the globe.

International Day of Charitable Work

Al-Jarwan said on the occasion of the International Day of Charitable Work: The UAE, since its foundation, has been a pioneer in charitable work around the world, extending a hand of help and assistance to all those in need, and providing relief to various countries and peoples in times of crises and disasters.

He added: The charitable approach is rooted in the state’s policy, since its establishment by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, who was known for his benevolent hands, which extended not to the Arab and Islamic countries but to the countries and continents of the world, which is evidenced by reality and the present. Almost every country or region does not have a charitable initiative or project in the name of Zayed, even the title of Zayed Al Khair.

Al-Jarwan said: The charitable work the UAE offers, including both near and far, is one of the most important principles of tolerance, for which the UAE has become a global symbol.

The UAE is a model in charitable work
