UAE and The Republic of India discuss their international relations

Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, received Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India, His Excellency Subrahmanyam Jaishankar at the Beach Palace to discuss the international relations between UAE and the Republic of India.

UAE and The Republic of India Meeting

At the beginning of the meeting, the Indian minister conveyed the greetings of His Excellency Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India, to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and his wishes for the United Arab Emirates for continued development, and His Highness conveyed his regards to the guest minister to Narendra Modi, wishing India and its friendly people all the best, and affirming the distinguished relations between the UAE and India spanning decades,

His Highness and the guest minister discussed the distinguished historical friendship and aspects of cooperation and partnership in political, investment, and economic affairs, and developments in the COVID-19 pandemic, and the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination between the UAE and India to confront the pandemic considering the humanitarian and economic repercussions

The meeting was attended by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority and Member of the Executive Council, His Excellency Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Under-Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, and the accompanying delegation to the Indian Minister of Foreign Affairs.

UAE and The Republic of India Historical Friendship

The relations between the UAE and the Republic of India do not stop at the limit of trade exchange but include the interdependence between the two peoples. The UAE hosts on its territory the largest expatriate Indian community in the world with 3.3 million people, which contributes to a large transfer of funds that supports the Indian economy.
