Both countries are keen on further strengthening economic and investment links.
They are also fostering fruitful partnerships, and supporting the sustainable growth of their friendly economies.
During the meeting, the UAE and Japan discussed the importance of providing programs and facilitations.
As they will accelerate the growth of startups in their respective markets.
Encouraging Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and Entrepreneurs
They also explored ways to increase investments and support exports, enabling these companies to access new markets.
Additionally, they highlighted efforts to encourage small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs to invest in new economy sectors.
As they are aiming to boost their contribution to the countries’ GDP.
Tourism cooperation was another key topic.
With over 140 monthly flights between the two nations via UAE’s national carriers.
They discussed joint tourism initiatives to promote prominent historical and tourist attractions.
Leveraging the UAE and Japan’s diverse tourism potential to attract more global tourists.

Japan is invited to attend “Investopia”
The meeting also emphasized enhancing collaboration in technology transfer and knowledge exchange.
Drawing on Japan’s expertise in advanced technologies such as robotics, artificial intelligence, and manufacturing.
Furthermore, Minister Abdulla bin Touq extended an invitation to the Japanese minister to attend the fourth edition of “Investopia,” scheduled for February 2025.
This event aims to capitalize on the promising economic and investment opportunities in the UAE.
Mentioning that the UAE is recognized as a global hub for business and investment, particularly in some of the world’s fastest-growing markets.
The UAE’s business-friendly environment offers unique advantages and possibilities for growth.
