The UAE and Italy International Cooperation through the official visit to the state, as His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, met today at the Ministry’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi, His Excellency Luigi Di Maio, the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and his accompanying delegation.

His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak welcomed His Excellency Luigi Di Maio and discussed with him issues of mutual interest and enhancing the prospects for cooperation between the UAE and Italy International Cooperation in various fields, especially in light of the development and growth of strategic relations between the two friendly countries.

His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak said that the relations between the UAE and Italy International Cooperation are distinguished and are witnessing continuous development thanks to the support and patronage of the leadership of the two friendly countries to achieve the aspirations of their peoples.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak affirmed the UAE’s keenness, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God preserve him”, to strengthen its relations with various countries of the world and to communicate human and civilized communication with countries and peoples of the world in a way that enhances the UAE’s civilizational message based on peace, tolerance and coexistence between human beings and humanity as a whole.

For his part, His Excellency Luigi Di Maio affirmed his country’s keenness to enhance aspects of joint cooperation with the UAE in a way that serves the interests of the two friendly countries, praising the progress and development of the UAE in various fields and its pivotal role in promoting international peace and security.
The Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation praised the role of the UAE and its pioneering efforts at the regional and global levels in laying the foundations for peace, tolerance and coexistence at the global level by launching initiatives aimed at promoting stability and prosperity worldwide.
