UAE and Hungary Political Consultations first round started recently.
The first round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs in the UAE and Hungary was held in Budapest, the Hungarian capital.
During first round of political consultations:
On behalf of the UAE, Her Excellency Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, Assistant Minister for Political Affairs and Ambassador of the UAE to the European Union.
From the Hungarian side His Excellency Levente Magyar, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Member of Parliament.
During the consultations, the two sides reviewed the bilateral relations.
As well as the economic and trade cooperation between the UAE and Hungary.
They also discussed their views on the most important regional and international issues of common interest.
In addition to the implementation and follow-up of agreements and memoranda of understanding between the two countries.
During her official visit to Hungary, Her Excellency Nusseibeh held a number of meetings with a number of officials.
As well as thought leaders and cultural figures, in the presence of His Excellency Saud Hamad Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to Hungary.
These meetings included:
-János Németh, Minister for European Affairs.
-Balázs Orbán, Political Director of the Office of the Hungarian Prime Minister.
-Zoltán Kovács, Government Spokesperson.
-László Baán, Government Commissioner for the City Garden Cultural Project and Director of the Museum of Fine Arts.
The program also included participation in Hungary’s celebrations of its National Day.
As well as visits to a number of museums and cultural centers in the Hungarian capital, Budapest.
The consultations were a success and resulted in a number of agreements.
The consultations reflect the strong bilateral relations between the UAE and Hungary.
Mentioning that the two countries share a common commitment to peace, security, and prosperity.
They are also partners in a number of international and regional organizations.
