The UAE Minister of State Participates in International Humanitarian Conference on Sudan
His Excellency Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, the UAE Minister of State, participated in the International Humanitarian Conference on Sudan at France.
France, Germany, and the European Union jointly organized the conference in Paris.
With the participation of a number of countries and international and regional organizations.
The conference aimed to advance peace initiatives for Sudan.

- UAE pledges $100 million in support of humanitarian efforts in Sudan and neighboring countries.

- A Declaration of Principles was adopted to support the resolution of the conflict since April 2023.
- Humanitarian and diplomatic efforts were strengthened to address the humanitarian challenges facing the Sudanese people.
UAE’s Humanitarian Assistance:
- Total value of relief aid to those affected by the conflict reached $150 million, including medical, food, and relief supplies.
- Opened a fully equipped field hospital in Abéché, Chad, at a cost of $20 million.
