Morocco Earthquake is not the only earthquake which happened in the MENA Region this year.
Turkey and Syria have also been affected by a devastating earthquake by 06 – Feb – 2023.
The earthquake struck south-west of Marrakech last Friday night, 08 – Sep- 2023.
Immediate Response to Morocco Earthquake by the UAE leaders.
As part from the immediate response to the disaster, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, ordered the establishment of an air bridge.
Which will transport urgent relief supplies to the affected people of Morocco.
Also, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE Red Crescent, has ordered urgent humanitarian assistance to those affected by the earthquake.
Moreover the UAE Red Crescent has begun implementing an emergency relief program.
This program will provide large quantities of shelter, food, and other essential items to the affected areas.
In addition, the Red Crescent’s Emergency Operations Room is assessing the on-the-ground humanitarian situation.
Also the EOR is identifying the most urgent needs.
The organization is currently coordinating with the UAE embassy in Rabat and Moroccan authorities.
In order to ensure that assistance is provided as quickly as possible and meets the needs of those affected.
The UAE has an important and influential role in promoting the field of humanitarian response to the challenges facing human societies around the world.
Also, the UAE is at the forefront of countries that use their capabilities to mitigate the damage caused by disasters.
The United Arab Emirates expresses condolences and solidarity with Morocco over Earthquake Victims.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to King Mohammed VI of Morocco.
And also to the Moroccan people for the victims of the earthquake.
He prayed to God Almighty to grant the deceased mercy and to bless them with vast gardens and to grant the injured a speedy recovery.
He also affirmed the UAE’s standing with Morocco government and people, in this great tragedy.
In addition to its readiness to provide all that would help to alleviate the burden of the disaster on the Moroccan people.
Also to help them overcome their current circumstances.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has also instructed all rescue and ambulance teams of the Dubai Police to provide all necessary assistance to their Moroccan counterparts.
Also to help in the rescue of the victims of the earthquake that struck different cities in Morocco.

As well as all its charitable institutions to provide all necessary relief to the victims.
And also to start preparing an air bridge to transport relief, food, and shelter materials.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, expressed its deepest condolences to the Moroccan government.
And also to the Moroccan brothers in this painful tragedy, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
These steps are a reflection of the fraternal relations and solidarity that bind the UAE to the Kingdom of Morocco.
