Also they have plans to increase spending on food, health, sports, and insurance.
64% of consumers in the UAE are optimistic about the future.
According to the study, 64% of consumers in the UAE are optimistic about the future, compared to a global average of 43%.
Moreover, 58% of UAE residents reported higher satisfaction with their current lives.
As well as a greater optimism about their future, compared to a global average of 54%.
When it comes to grocery shopping, “staying healthy” is the top choice for consumers in the UAE.
Followed by price, brands, and quality.
While 47% of shoppers in the UAE are planning to reduce non-essential purchases.
42% will compare prices online, and 34% plan to switch to affordable supermarkets.
